Questions

Common questions from business owners abroad

If yours is not here, ask it in your consultation.

Should I choose mainland or a free zone?

It depends mainly on where your customers are. A mainland company can trade anywhere in the UAE. A free zone company is well suited to international business but may need an additional arrangement to sell into the UAE market. We assess your activity and recommend one in writing.

Can my existing company abroad own the UAE entity?

Yes. A foreign company can be the shareholder of a UAE company or open a branch. Its corporate documents need to be attested and translated, which we manage for you.

Do I need to be in the UAE during setup?

Most stages can be completed remotely. You will need to be present for residency steps such as medicals and biometrics, and banks often ask to meet signatories. We plan these into one short visit where possible.

How long does the process take?

Timelines vary by jurisdiction, activity and approvals. Free zone setups are often faster than mainland. Your structure proposal includes an expected timeline for your case.

Can you help my family obtain residency?

Yes. Once your investor or partner visa is issued, we can sponsor your spouse and children, and review whether you qualify for a long-term Golden Visa.

Will my UAE company pay Corporate Tax?

UAE Corporate Tax applies at 9% on taxable income above AED 375,000, and qualifying free zone income can be taxed at 0%. We factor this into the structure we recommend and handle registration. We work with tax specialists where your group needs detailed advice.

Can you look after HR and accounting once the company is running?

Yes. We can review your HR and finance setup and advise on it, or run payroll, bookkeeping and tax filings for you each month. As your UAE operation grows, we scale with you, adding payroll for new hires, advising on new entities or activities, and keeping your reporting and compliance in step with the business.
